SD Card or Micro Card

Hi,
I'm looking to buy extra cards for my A7 IV camera for extra back up. Would Micro cards with an adaptor be okay or should I stick to standard SD cards?
Any views would be really good.

Why screw around with micro cards when you have to use the adapter anyway? It's not like they're a storage problem. Get Sony Tough cards and be done with it.

I use both, but out of preference, I use full sized to eliminate one possible issue.

If the slot takes full size I think you are better off with full size, less to go wrong

Makes zero difference I use both, only one I have ever had that failed was full size

I'm not a fan of the fiddly little ones and adapter, so full size SD for me. Never bigger than 64gb though.

just to point out the size is the same in the adaptor, one plus the micro can be used in a phone as well pointless discussion really

Thanks all for the replies. I've now just bought a couple of extra SD cards for my upcoming trip instead of using my spare micro cards.
