Thanks for telling me about your journey. You've reinforced the idea that lenses are more important than bodies. I held that view too but had come to believe that the lens(es) I'd like, are not available now. Maybe I should revisit that.The current 100-400 is looking better and better, although if a 2x teleconverter had been available, I'd still have that wonderful 70-200 GM II, for indoor and low-light situations. I usually head out before sunrise.My computer hardware is capable of handling larger images. I went through a phase of doing large stitched panoramas (80 megabytes or more), and I've already budgeted for some fast external drives. If necessary, I could get a new M2 Mac something with lots of RAM.Thank you!
