Sony A6700 dynamic range performs exactly like a Sony A7rV in crop mode

If you ever find yourself unable to decide between a nice, compact APS-C or a FF, here's your chance. If they do put the A7R-V sensor in the A7cR, you will have both. All of a sudden this makes sense. You APS-C shooters can shoot away happily on your APS-C lenses, knowing you have the same performance as the A6700, and slowly work your way into FF lenses.

What I once thought was a silly idea is now showing some brilliance on Sony's part.

Interesting food for thought.
I previously thought the A7C-R would be folly, but maybe a case could be made for it...

The A7C-R will use the 42mp sensor. ️
