I just got my camera (A7Rv) back from servicing and am having a 'moment'. The repair time was 2 months plus a week at either end for shipping, so 10 weeks total. While that one was gone, I was using my old A7RIV. The repaired camera info was reset to factory settings so I had to re-enter all the info as well, there was a firmware update to V4.0. Here is where I am questioning my sanity.... when viewing through the EVF, there is a lot of missing information that I believe should be on the monitor. All I can see is the setting I am using (M for manual), the remaining photos on each SD card, RAW and battery usage all along the top, and on the bottom, shutter, Fstop, exposure comp and ISO. Should there not be more info along the side bars? The monitor, when flipped open, shows a lot more info along each side including the drive, metering, focus mode, etc. The A7RIV shows everything, and perhaps my brain just got used to that info and dumped the A7RV memory. So, I guess what I am asking is: to all the A7RV friends, what exactly do you see when you look through your EVF? I have read the manual and followed the instructions per the Setup info. Thanks kindly
