Hi all. I'm planning to get myself an A7iii with a view to taking pictures of indoor sport, as well as general photography. My priorities are getting the best quality fast action images I can in low light. I am looking forward to learning and sharing experiences.

Welcome and thanks for joining up here Tim! The a7III is definitely a good choice for low light and indoor work. You'll want to combine it with a fast lens though, have you already made some decisions about the lenses?

Thank you.
Current thinking for lenses is:
Tamron 70-180 f2.8 Di III VXD (most useful range for my indoor sport application)
Tamron 28-75 f2.8 Di III RXD
Weight and price are major factors.

Thank you.

Sorry for the slow reply here Tim. The Tamron's are hard to beat for the price and also a lot lighter than the Sony GM equivalents.
