Hi all. New to Sony shooting and starting with an a7iv and 200-600. Any tips for good focus settings for deer?

Welcome Daniel and thanks for joining up here! The a7IV + 200-600 is definitely a nice combination for wildlife. As for the focus settings. It probably goes without saying that you'll want to use AF-C and also have animal eye AF enabled for the dear. You might want to play with the focus area settings but for deer you'll probably find that zone or large spot with tracking will work well. Once the tracking locks on you can easily compose the shot to your liking.
