Birds Splendid-fairy Wren

I was leaving my mates place and seen this magnificent dark blue as I drove by. When into reverse and it was still there and this is what I got.
Taken with the old Sigma 100/400mm lens I am quite sure.

It was good that it hung about as I stopped there for a while and got about another 4 or 5 different birds.

Nature seemed to have designed this bird just for use photographers.

I agree but it is only really for those of us who like to take their photo's as the ones without cameras just don't care too much

Yer you are right. Sorry about that on day as today when I have to get up because pain dictates that I can no longer sleep I get confussed with easy things as you put done. So try and keep pain free cause it stuffs you about in so many ways.

When they are in the full dark blue which is getting close to a purple these look just that much better but this one to me is quite stunning even though he isn't in full breeding colour.
