The Weebill is the smallest bird in Australia but the way they measure is maybe a little wrong as they do it from head to tail.
This Mallee Emu Wren if it wasn't for it's tail which is it 's body size again so making it not the smallest bird.

But for another fact is that these are endangered here and are hunted by every man/woman with a camera me included.
As they are hard to get and they are never in the same place 2 times, well I don't think they are.
I went out for a quick shoot and I was heading back to the car to go home when I seen one.

I went to it and it was going the wrong way which was away from me but then made a U-turn and all of a sudden 8 to 10 others showed up.
There is very little chance in getting a couple together as the are on the move constantly.
I followed this group for a good couple of minutes getting my shots and then left them as being so small I didn't want to put them
under too much pressure.

These shot are male and female the male is the blue faced one and you don't need to be told the rest.
