The Napa Lighted Art Festival, January 2024

A week ago, from last Friday, my Wife and I attended the Napa Lighted Art Festival in Napa, California. This has been an annual event for a few now but it began after er had moved away, around 6 years ago. Mu Wife saw a flyer advertising the event , and the first thing I thought was, “Night Shot”, so we had to go.

It was an interesting event, and I will go again next year if I’m able. I have yet to learn the technology behind the projected images, but I will investigate. The projected images on buildings were most interesting. The names of the Artist and the respective artwork are in the captions to the images in the Album I created on Flickr if you would care to look. In addition to the images of lighted art, I captured some photos of the Night Life in the downtown areas of Napa and in particular, the Riverwalk area. Nice shots. The projections on the façades can be quite hard to shoot as they keep moving and changing.

Those are cool, especially #3. I think though my favorite is the cafe!
