I am getting a Sony A7CR in the next few days and I thought i'd look for some lens, I won an auction on ebay for a Tamron 28-75mm F/2.8 Di III RXD and paid £400 for it. It's still not been delivered yet but has been sent.
I only realised afterwards when I was looking up lenses to buy I was actually looking at the newer G2 model (A063) so i feel a bit stupid and annoyed now.
Oddly the person listed it is A071 model, which is actually the 28-200mm model, but it definitely says and shows on the lens as 28-75mm.
I am wondering now if I will be disappointed and would I really have been better getting the newer model over the older?
Is what I have paid a bad price for a lens thats now pretty old?
