hummingbird moths with travel lens 70-200 f4

ok so I came across these moths in Spain the light was super bright and I only had the 70-200 f4 lens and no nd filters, having said that these move so fast I struggled with freezing them as they do not land they just hoover

Thanks given the 10 minutes I had before our tour moved on ,I found them difficult to shoot due to the fast movement bright background lighting
