I used to love Bluejays, they are so pretty to look at, then this year I discovered they are one of the culprits for my damaged mango crop. Now they are #2 on my hit list behind mr squirrel! I digress. Lovely shots Keith.
 
Yeah, I'm kind of shocked, although I really don't know why I should be. At $1k US it's another Tamron win. They have come so far with their lenses it's amazing. You could outfit yourself with a full array of excellent 2.8 Tamron zooms from 17 to 180 at a fairly reasonable cost. If the new 20-40 is as good, and I don't know why it wouldn't be, it will be a nice addition to the middle of the pack.
Yes Tamron have really made big strides forward with their lenses.. I’ve also got the 24mm 2.8 and that’s also exceptional..
