Ok, so this is a composite of 3 shots as the aircraft took off from an Airfield in Lincolnshire. I needed the reach of the SEL100400GM as we were all stood some distance away. The resolution of the A7R3 helped to push it a bit closer. The original shot was the Spit on the left of the screen with the other two added in post. You can just see the word THANK on the Starboard wing of the middle aircraft which when viewed from underneath reads THANK U NHS in a nod to the National Health Service during Covid difficulties.

I have since done a bit more editing to include Poppy fields and some motion blur ready to upload for Remembrance Day in the UK.

Nice work. I personally like some prop blur, so shoot slower shutter speeds, but this is still a lovely composition.

I agree with the prop blur but I'm new to this system and I was more desperate to get a couple of useable photos (y)

Interesting as I live in Lincolnshire too. As it happens I was out watching them but without a camera as they were still stored away at the time :(

That's a shame Scotty, I am quite surprised that I remembered to take my camera!

Yes, with hindsight it is however at the time my cameras had been mothballed for quite some time and it's only over the last few weeks or so that my interest has been resurrected :)
