Nightscape Northern Lights images form Iceland

We were lucky to be leading a photo tour in Iceland when the best display of the Aurora Borealis so far this year took place. We were at Glacier Lagoon in Southern Iceland that night. The last image is from Gullfoss Falls, the most famous of the waterfalls in Iceland several days before Glacier Lagoon.

How much of this is visible to the eye? I think I read that the camera sensor can "see" a lot more of it than we can? I have zero experience.
