Hello all,

Not sure if others using the Sony A7v cannot see the camera matching profiles in Lightroom Classic, I have ot been able to see them since getting this camera and today I was onto Adobe and they cannot understand why they are not available /

Any help appreciated.

Brian.

There are no camera matching profiles for A7V in Lightroom yet.

I found a few reddit threads about creating your own and ended up modifying the camera standard one from the A1ii (I think) and liked it a lot as a start up point after import.

In on my phone right now but will reply with more info when on a proper computer hehehe

Yeah I thought they would have done it by now , ohh is it an easy process to be able to use them, does the A1ii use the same colour science as the A7v.

Hi, sorry for the delay.

The post I've used as a guide is this one - including the recommendation on using the A1ii as base:

If you'd like to use my modified profile it's attached, just delete the .txt extension (the forum doesn't allow dcp files) and import it in lightroom.

I think it gives me a much nicer starting point for developing raws than Adobe Color. I didn´t mess with the other profiles but it should be the same process as described in the link above.

Left modified profile / Right adobe color, it's more apparent in a few other scenarios but it just starts overall "less dull"
