200-600 lens sharpness opinipons

Is this straight out of the camera? It's okay, but not as tack sharp as I prefer. I also do some sharpening in post, and often with Topaz. Also the LR clarity and texture sliders seem to help sharpen up a picture.

I see that you have a nice set of zooms. Do you think my 200-600 needs a firmware update or some kind of other work? That was really what I was trying to find out. Thank you.

Hi, it is difficult to see how sharp the image is in a web browser and it also depends on the export settings. I can tell you that in my case I use f9 and it has a great performance. High ISOs will always degrade the image. Regards.
