I thought I would go out and take the little 28-60 Kit lens but took this as a tester before going, and it really is quite a sharp lens.
I, like most people have always thought kit lenses were really not that good, but maybe Sony have a little cracker here…In my opinion, what’s your take on kit lenses and do you use yours regularly ?

Sorry about the tablets, only just spotted them. 😡

I used to use the Sony FE 28-70mm on my A6400 quite often. I never had any dramas with the performance of it, although at that point I had a lot less experience than now I couldn't see a dramatic difference compared to my Sigma primes. It pumped out nice, clean images. The weight and size made it a great little walk around lens too. 🌞

Well it news to me I didnt know there was a Sony 28 -60

Quite new I think and compared to the old 28-70 it simply blows it away.
Some very good tests and reviews on YouTube
Although it is plastic and feels rather cheap It’s a very good lens to start out with.
I also have Tamron 35mm f2.8 and that is incredibly sharp edge to edge. The only issue with it is it is not the quickest AF and isn’t the fastest at f2.8
