Full-Frame 600mm F4 at various focal lengths

A couple of folks were interested in this.

I shot the same frame with the 600 f4 at various apertures to demonstrate the effect it has on depth of field with such a long lens.

I had to up the ISO as the aperture was stopped down to keep the shutter speed reasonably high. I was hand holding, with the lens supported with a monopod.

The male shoveller at the front of the frame was my point of focus.

I'm estimating 18 metres. It was further than I would take a shot of a lone bird.
