Has anyone been able to find one of these types of covers for an A7IV? not the R version?

I have tried 3 different ones and none of them fit quite right.

Trying to figure out how to list these in market place. When I create a post, the Marketplace isn't an option in the drop down. Can someone point me where I can find instructions on that? Seems like I should just select it when I'm adding media or creating a post.

I would not cover my camera because of heat, specially if you plan on video work.

I have never used one of these, but with the LCD screen and knobs still exposed, I am doubtful it offers much (if any) protection.

The problem you're running into is that the A7 III and it's III siblings have a different sized body than the A7 IV. And while the RIV has essentially the same sized body, there are differences in the control layout and the viewfinder size. As of now, I think the A7 IV may be the only body with this exact size and control layout, so manufacturer's aren't rushing to create accessories. The A1 is closer with the same viewfinder, but there are controls differences, and I'm not sure about the connections. Here's a comparison shot of the IV, RIV, and 1. You can see the difference in the connection layouts on the side and the larger viewfinder housing on the IV and 1. Even at that, there's a sloped area below the viewfinder of the A7 IV that isn't on the A1.

But I have to agree with the others with regard to the cover, I don't see what good it's doing. As Jeff A said it will retain heat, and as MrFoto said it won't offer a lot of protection. It may help with bumps and scrapes, and maybe some general dust. It won't improve splash resistance, that happens in the seal between the lens and body and around the controls which are still fully exposed.

Having said all of that, I'm going to take one of the RIII covers off your hands. :ROFLMAO: I notice out at the track than when I lean in on a shot with the A7 IV and the R III is clipped on my belt, it's been bumping the concrete safety barrier. Might save it from a few scuffs and bruises.
