SAR really heating up the rumor mill with all new partially stacked 33MP sensor shooting 30FPS in eshutter mode. Sounding like an awesome primary shooter or backup to an A1

I had stopped watching his rumor videos until today because he was really struggling to find content for his videos. Ahh, the YouTube algorithm must be fed! Sounds like its going to be a great camera though.

Pre-capture seems to be a feature.... (according to rumors)..

I'm getting more curious about this camera, 30FPS, precapture, AI AF chip...how exactly is the A1 II differentiated aside from 50MP sensor? (for still shooters at least)

Since the A1/A1ii has a full stacked sensor its readout speed will still be faster, meaning the A7v will still have cases in which the mechanical shutter will produce less rolling shutter. Per the rumors the A7v calculates AF 60 times a second vs the A1/A1ii 120, so the AF will be only very good and just not the A1 great. In theory the A1 and A7 lines should basically be the same feature set with the A1 just being better at everything as they are the "hybrid" cameras and not feature focused.

solid explanation, definitely have to look a bit deeper than the headline specs. (y)
