Went to support my wife and our dog, Yoda, who were participating in Agility and Dog jumping competition this morning and took my camera along to take some photos of them and a few of the other participants.

Must have been a tonne of fun to photograph! How did your dog go Etienne..? 👏

Great action shots!

Wow, what wonderful pics! I've never been to such an event, but I've seen it on TV a couple of times. I'd love to be able to ask a dog what they really think of it, but I'm fairly sure that the answer is "a great day out, meeting the mates, smelling the smells, and having a heap of fun." They seem to love it. I love the expressions!

That border collie looks like a hard working competitor. Love the photographs, you must have had a fantastic day.

Hi Clint, yes, great fun. Wife and dog won the trophy for "Most improved handler & dog combination for 2023", but let's just say there is still ample room for further improvement 😂

Thanks Thad. The dogs love it, they can't wait for their turn to run. The happiest I ever see my dog, is while on the course. Unfortunately, at the competitions they don't get much opportunity to interact with the others and have to stay in their cages between runs, otherwise it would be utter chaos. However, at their weekly group training sessions they usually get time for free play before or after training, where they run all over the field, chasing each other around.

Thanks Ed, yes had a great day. They all hard working, some just a bit more disciplined than others in sticking to the course layout 😂
