Just two strobes?

I'm curious if you have ever shot Canon? I used to set the shutter speed one step below the sync speed because I'd started with Canon, and they would sometimes produce a black bar if shot at nominal flash sync. I've found Sony works fine at the sync speed. On the A7R6, that's 1/250.
