The Aurora was spectacular last weekend! I took a ton of shots at Elk Island National Park outside Edmonton. However, I feel they could benefit from a bit of foreground interest. Coincidentally, I also have a shot of the Three Sisters mountain range in Canmore with an empty sky. In the past, I played with sky swaps in Photoshop more to see if I could do it than because a shot really "needed" it.
It also felt a bit weird to swap the sky that I shot with a "generic" one from Adobe. Since I took both the mountains and the Aurora shots, it feels a lot better. Let me know what you think.
EXIF data. Mountain shot: Alpha 7RV (ILCE-7RM5), ISO100, FE 24-105mm F4 G OSS, 90mm, f/4.0, 1/1250s
Aurora shots: Alpha 7RV (ILCE-7RM5), ISO4000, FE 16-35mm F4 ZA OSS, 16mm, f/4.0, 10s
