I took a walk around a local nature preserve this afternoon and got photos of several baby birds of various types.

Here is a shot from Sunday of two barred owlets.

Apparently they fledged yesterday and today I got this shot of one high in a tree.

Last year I tried several times to see the barred owls at this same location and never was able to see them. This year I've already seen them a couple of times.
