Nightscape Bay of Islands under bright moonlight

Near Peterborough on the Great Ocean Road. Bright moonlight meant that the Milky Way core was largely washed out, but I think the image still works. An 8 shot panorama of the Bay of Islands with unusually calm seas. If you look carefully you can see the light from a some fishermen in a small boat between two of the islands

Thankyou, I had hoped for some cloud cover to moderate the moonlight, allowing the Milky Way to stand out more. However the sky was completely clear, so I'll just have to suffer the hardship of revisiting on a darker night

Last Friday I drove to Sandy Pont in an attempt to capture one last glimpse of the Milky Way core for the year. Unfortunately as true darkness approached so did the clouds. Still I managed to get this shot at ISO-10000. Looking west towards Cape Liptrap with a bit of astronomical twilight, the faint pink glow from a weak Aurora on the southern edge of the shot, and some bioluminescence in the foreground waves
