We had wanted to see a special program, Luminere, at the Biltmore House in August while we were there for our anniversary but it was rained out. We had beautiful weather yesterday so we made the hour drive and spent the afternoon and evening. I decided to just take my RX10V. Here are a variety of photos of the house.
Taken from the Biltmore Lagoon Lookout.
We walked around the gardens during the afternoon and took this photo from the gardens.
View from the Italian Gardens as they were beginning the light show in the gardens. The spiral staircase is in the center of the photo.
The house illuminated as the Luminere program began.
The program consists of various scenes being projected on the house as they told the history of the Estate.
Scene as they described the architect and his vision of the house.
Conclusion of the 15 minute program.
Taken from the Biltmore Lagoon Lookout.
