Birds bird id help please, might be a water pipit?

So as title a little bird shot in bright sunlight heavy crop id help please I think it could be a water pipit? guessed at meadow pipit?

In this part of India, "uncle/auntie" is still used like it was when I was a child in 50s/60s GB. I don't mind when the kids (teens) do it but I did mind when someone in 40s-ish did it. Even though I am probably old enough to be her uncle. Still, it's better than "thatha" (Grand-dad!)

/offtopic. Pipits, poppets and buntings (cousins?)...
