Black and white photography at this time of year which I personally love, with colour virtually negative in nature especially with trees they reveal their true characters of shape, form and textures.
This is an example from earlier this morning when I was out in hope to see the cold supermoon set over the Pentland Hills, however thick low clouds put paid to that, this is when I found this magnificent old silver birch tree with its network of sprawling branches and twigs, filling my full frame at 24mm.
When I got home I got a DPD notification that my new A7V will be getting delivered today
