Reptiles Bleached Earless Lizard from the White Sands, New Mexico

Just a little lizard that is living proof of Darwin's Theory. The White Sands dunes, formed about 10,000 years ago, are a relatively small patch in New Mexico, but multiple animals adapted to the white gypsum sand. Only a few miles outside, the cousins of this lizard are brown or very colorful.
