Hey all, Anyone out there have any suggestions on a good set of cheat sheet cards? I would like to keep them in my camera
bag for reference as I learn to use my new a7C? I have seen a few listed online, but you really can't tell what they include on
each card. Please let me know if you found a set you like and have a great day! jim

I suggest avoiding cheat sheets; instead, read the owner's manual and find a supplemental book for your camera. Then get a good understanding of the following foundations. Just use your camera and discover what works. This will make you instinctive; otherwise, you will always depend on your cheat sheets and miss the good shots.
1. The relationship between shutter speed, aperture, and ISO
2. What shutter speeds work for freezing action depending on the speed of the action and avoiding blur unless you intend to blur
3. What impact aperture has on the depth of field for your lens
4. How far can you push the ISO for your camera and avoid noise

Use this site when you have problems, we all were where you are at now and happy to help.

Thanks Chris 3754! That is just the advice I was looking for. I just got David Busch's guide book for the Sony a7C and be
reading up on the points you suggested. Thanks again.

His books are great, they go well beyond the manual. I have had them for other cameras that I owned. Also some great videos out there too. Look forward to seeing some photos from you on this site.
