Birds Close ups of some local birds...

Here's a couple of local birds showing 'close up' crops with the A1 / 200-600mm combo (with a 1.4x). It is pretty impressive.
Is it any sharper than my A7r4 with the same combo? Well, no, I don't think so but the number of keepers is substantially higher especially using the bird eye AF.

Nice. The sharpness wont change because that's from the lens, but the eye AF seems good.

Yes thanks Tim. Detail is great and AF is much stickier than the A7r4. The only issue I have is with the EVF blacking out with the sun behind. Had to set the camera to sleep after 10 seconds to circumvent it. Hope the next FW update fixes this.

The RIV does that, and it annoys the sh*t out of me.
