  1. Yes
The Cross Country team at the school in which I taught hired me to shoot their only home meet of the year. It is certainly one of the most tiring events I shoot even though it doesn't last as long as football or soccer games. I was glad there were only two races since some of the meets include a 3rd JV only race. Since it was the last race for the seniors on their home course I also put together a collage for each of photos from the race.

Here are some favorite shots.

The first time through the woods I see some smiling for the camera. Photos at the finish line are a different story.

Coming out of the woods there is a bridge that I like to use as a capture point.

I had to run a bit to get to the finish line in time to catch the winners.

I then head across the football field to catch them leaving the stadium.

Again, some like to pose in the first time through the woods.

After leaving the woods I can catch shots of them up the hill from me as they head around to enter the woods for a second lap.

Two teammates ran close together most of the race and I caught this shot of the leader looking back to see how far ahead she was.

This race I was able to get a shot of each of the runners from all of the teams as they crossed the finish line.

I did start Creator's App before shooting the Cross Country meet and used a TrackLog Creator plugin in Lightroom Classic to create a map from the GPS data in the photos. Basically I walked these routes twice and ended up walking about 2 miles.
