I'm currently working through a backlog of shots from this year, as I can't go out anywhere decent locally, and so here are some shots of a Dark Green Fritillary from June this year. This was my first proper chance to photograph this species. They are incredibly flighty, but this one actually stayed relatively still. Stunning colours.
