Birds Eagle in an unusual posture

When I saw this eagle this morning, I wondered if it was injured. I stayed on this perch for well over an hour, maintaining this odd posture. Look closely at the last few photos. You'll see its orange underbelly. I've never seen an eagle do anything like this. I hope that it had taken a dunk in the ocean and it was drying its wings. Does anybody know about this behaviour?

Nothing appears to be wrong with it. If they find a spot they like and nothing is bothering them or they are not hungry they can sit in a spot for a couple hours.

It was just odd to see one in this posture. They usually have their wings folded in, close to the body.

A bit hard to let his hair down so it looks like he is letting his wings down instead. I reckon he just smoked a bit of weed or had a whisky, he looks happy...
