After the excitement of the Hawk and the Pileated woodpecker a few days ago I was a bit worried that maybe the Pileated had been frightened away from my yard as I hadn’t seen them around for a day or two, anyway this morning I’m happy to say they are still here..
I guess my homemade bark butter is just to good to ignore.. I’ve actually put a few more up and everyone is thoroughly enjoying it..
