California Classic - Few things scream Northern California winters to me more than Golden Eagles cruising against the picturesque green hills.

While I only use the 120 fps of the A9 iii for split second moments such as bird takeoffs/landings, I find the 60 fps continuous shooting speed just right for most situations like this.

Happy New Year!

Location: California, USA

You nailed this. I love the touch of blue on the beak.

Thanks a bunch, Chris! I really like the Sony a9 III colors. I also shoot a Canon R3 and all of those complaining about of Sony colors are full of it. Both systems generate equally beautiful files with proper color profiles and RAW processing.

I was a Canon guy back in the film days and always thought they made and continue to make great stuff. I made the switch to Sony with their first mirrorless and haven’t looked back. I think that across the mainstream makers, Sony, Canon, Nikon, etc, the sensors are quite equal. Maybe one excels over the others on a certain point here or there. Choosing a camera brand now, in my opinion, comes down to features, feel of the camera in your hands, and brand loyalty. In short I never put much into these definitive opinions about what camera has the best color, especially as you said with all the post work we can do.
