Hello dear alpha comunity !
I'm an italian dude living in Switzerland and about to move to Asia... Into photogrpahy since I was 15 years old during the film era.
I worked as a freelance photographer for years but also had another regular job which I'm now retired from since end of 2025 !
My early retirement will allow me to be fully commited to my passion for photography and travels.
I've spent more than a decade photographing mostly aircraft but they actually aren't my favorite subjects...
What I really like is outdoor portrait sessions, black & whites, urban cityscapes, wildlife and events photography.
In the near future I will mostly do travel and landscapes but will not stop with portraiture !
After 20 years with Canon, I switched to Sony in 2016 and ave owned a huge number of Sony cameras and lenses... A6000, 2x A6400, A6500, A6600, 2x A6700 and in the full frame I had A7 II, 2x A7R II and A7 III !
Today I still have 2x A7R III(A), 2x A7R V, A1 II and for my compact kit I usually never go out without my A7CR !
Among my 14 lenses, the last Sony ones I've purchased are the FE 28-70mm f/2 GM, FE 70-200mm f/2.8 GM II OSS and FE 300mm f/2.8 GM with both teleconverters.
What I really like with the Sony alpha system is the way I can use it without even thinking about the equipement and staying focused only on the subjet... I know I will always get the picture I expect... And the lense selection is also a huge factor !
