Greetings from Devon

Hello all Alphashooters. Welcome from Devon in the west pf England. I have only just found this forum but I'm not a total newbie to Sony. I used to be a Fuji X - series shooter but decided that full frame was the way to go. I first purchased an Alpha A7IV in 2022 but then got tempted by the A7RV so traded up in 2024. I love it! I shoot mainly when I'm travelling so love the ability to crop the 61MP and achieve great results. I recently purchased an Alpha A7CR which for all its compromises (smaller viewfinder, one card slot etc) I still love it as it gives me similar results to my A7RV. I've added the 24mm F2.8G and 40mm F2.5G lenses to my arsenal which better match the size of the A7CR for travelling.
I have been fortunate enough to travel extensively in business and now retirement (current country total is 91) and photography is my passion. In September this year my wife and I are off to Peru to tick-off one of my all-time places on my bucket list - Machu Picchu.
Anyway I look forward to meeting fellow Sony Alpha shooters on this forum and learning new things.

Welcome to the forum. You have that clotted cream there in Devon, don't you? I became quite partial to that when I stayed there for a week way back in 1985. I do have to say though, it is much easier to put the jam on first.

By the way, I also have an A7R5...
