The first set of images from the Clacton Air Show. A real shame about the greyed out skies at the time this flew, it doesn't make the best backdrop, but these are cool planes, and they are what the RAF use for initial training, for pilots as young as 14 in the cadets, and for acrobatic training. The heart is a symbol for the RAF Benevolent Fund.

Cheers. It's essential to have prop blur, otherwise it just looks like someone parked a plane in the sky 😄 It can be a challenge keeping shutter speeds low enough to keep the plane in focus, but most prop planes aren't fast, sub 200mph in displays, so it's not so bad. Same applies for choppers. I've been shooting displays for years so know my settings thankfully.
