Hello, my name is Russ and I have been into photography for a few years now. I had no idea when getting my first camera just what I wanted to photograph but was excited to start learning. I started out with a cheap starter canon camera and fell in love with photography. I upgraded to Sony once I knew photography is what I love to do. It has been the most satisfying hobby I have ever taken on.

Welcome. I have only recently joined myself but have so far found this to be a nice place to talk about photography. People come across as helpful, polite and mature. Something that is often missing from other photography discussion platforms.
