Hi from Scotland

Hi everyone,

I am Brian Nicholson and got into photography during the pandemic...I have previously been a lover of nature and the outdoors, I hike, cycle, wild camp and love being outside.

I upgraded to the Sony Alpha family after I was pushing my Canon to far.

The A7iv and my 24-70 f2.8 and 70-200 f4 are a great combination for my photography which mainly fall into landscape, coastal, woodland in the main but not exclusively that ...I have dabbled in macro, street photography also.

I am considering the 100-400 f5.6 lens soon.

I am looking forward to being part of this community

Welcome!! Feel free to send me some photos of the wonderful single malt scotches you have at your disposal. I am a member of a Scotch Club, and have enjoyed some very nice examples!! I spent a few weekends in Edinburgh area back in the 80's, just didn't know anything about scotch back then... hopefully will return someday to get caught up on what I missed out on...

Hi Jester... funny enough I recently took early retirement and got a whisky decanter and crystal glasses so will get a bottle soon and photograph it for you
