Birds Hoary-head Grebe

I hurt myself again and with yet another broken wrist and my back got badly jarred that I said I need to take some time away for this to give me the time to mend.
But yesterday the water in the wetlands looked good and I just couldn't hold back.
This is a few of the shots I got on the day. It looked like it was some sort of mating dance.
In the last shot another one turned up and started a fight which put an end to this display.

In our history here we had a Bushranger called Ned Kelly and he quoted this saying and it is one that I live by.
Such Is Life. And for my this is about the 5th to 7th time my wrist has been broken. I no longer go to the doctors as if you don't have private insurance they really don't care too much for you. So I have got a home made wrist brace which works far better than any bought one. And this does help me still go out taking photo's though much slower.
But it is better to keep moving instead of sitting there feeling sorry for yourself. .
But as I said, Thank you and I really do mean this.

On the pain thing this is just a full part of my life and I need to just cope with it.
