Shot these today. One of the volunteers tipped off three of us that there was a flock of honeyeaters enjoying some "red hot pokers" (not a flower I knew before).

These were shot as part of a long burst, but I like the story the runs through these (especially the last) - each of these is the full frame as shot, reduced to 2000 wide for this site. All shot at f/2.8, 1/2000, ISO 250 at 300mm
