Not totally the same, but I shot over 5k shots in two hours on one battery with an a9mk1

I've found the battery life very good..over 5000. You can set the camera up to save battery life by turning off the back screen, etc.

Likewise, thousands. However, just this week I observed a black scree. With blue pixels...perhaps my sensor was getting hot?!

Well, that depends on the settings. I have my camera set to battery saving settings - LCD not auto, airplane mode etc. Mark Smith has some good suggestions (I believe for a7RIV but work for a9ii). Haven’t answered with a number but let’s say with my settings battery life isn’t an issue even though I have it set to 30 minutes before auto shutdown so it’s always ready to shoot.
