I got the sad news today of the death of a great inventer. The Chinese man who invented the camera lens.

I confess. It wasn't until I had nearly finished my scotch before I grasped the enormity of this announcement.

So sad.

(Yes, I must be getting old).

If Zu Min was the actual inventor of the camera lens I would say that it is his lesser invention since the first photo was taken in the 1830s or 1840s putting his age in the 200+ year amount.
