Can anyone explain this banding on just 2 images in a series of approx. 90?
Is there anything wrong with the shutter on my A7iii?

Apparently when look at the images on my camera display, there's nothing wrong with the picture.
So maybe it's just a copying mistake on the sd-card...?

Looks similar to some corrupted photos I have seen from my go-pro (the micro sd cards in those devices are notorious for getting corrupted), but most of the time if a photo file is corrupted, the PC just won't load it (even when the go-pro gives me an image preview). I know that's not Sony-specific, or helpful, just food for thought.

Are you saving raw, raw+jpg, or jpg only to your sd card?
Are you using one or two sd cards?
Have you tried to repeat the same experience with different SD card(s) to see if it happens again?

Thanks for the thoughts! I'll look into it...
Cheers!
