Kew Gardens - Great Pagoda

A visit to Kew Gardens in London yesterday, it’s a huge tower and although I attempted to get the scale of the structure, this turned out to be my best shot of the statues and didn’t show any scale to the entire structure.

I was trying to get the eye to follow the first statue onto the second, not sure that has worked… let me know what you think.

I find Architecture to be challenging to shoot. It is a genre that is deceptively complex. You're either wide enough to get that sense of scale you mentioned, or tight enough to find interesting details that only an artist/architect would have seen or thought about before.
