Kingfisher.

My first time seeing this beautiful little bird....felt so lucky it stayed around long enough to get these images.

Beautiful pics! Exciting to spot one's first kingfisher!

My British kingfisher spottings (but I'm no bird watcher) were often just a streak of colour flashing past.

Image #2 is worthy of a high quality print to hang proudly on the wall. That's my favorite of the 3.

Likewise I was so lucky just happened to be on my walking route

If you were to do prints I would change the crops some of the last 2 images. For the 2nd I would have something more like this:

This way the bird is looking into the open area of the frame and you don't have that large dead space with nothing interacting with it. The 3rd I would do something similar with the bird on/near the right 3rd line.

Seems they were around long enough for 1/25 second shot, maybe on a tripod?

I was going to crop a bit from the left but not as you have done...I did crop the 3rd on from the right a bit and kind of liked the kingfisher in the center 🙂
