Lack of clarity Question

Is this picture not Tack sharp because my ISO was too high or because it's not a macro lens?

I thought this picture was gonna be so cool because the dragon fly was devouring a bug. Boy I was mad when I loaded the photos onto my cell. UGH. I'm a noob btw.

A couple of reasons I think. I can't see what your ISO was, but it's not the main issue. To me it looks like the point of focus was on the leaf to the right, rather then central to the dragonfly. The other thing would be a fairly shallow depth of field. Can you share your fstop, ISO and shutter speed info?
