I love photographing landscapes with either smoke, haze, fog, etc to get receding layers in a scape.

Nice. These really show off the dynamic range of the A1.
 
Geff, you're missing a good bet here. Come to California. We have hills and there seems to be plenty of smoke from Forest Fires. What could be better? :cry:

I've been to California many times and shot landscapes with the smoke from the fires, beautiful images and landscapes, but the fires, so devastating. Last year we got the smoke all the way into Glacier NP from those fires. This year we have had out own fires to deal with.
